Archery Associate

Job Summary:  The Archery Associate will work individually or within a team to create the best possible shopping experience by providing superior customer service and exceptional product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service in all buying situations by identifying and evaluating needs and making product recommendations based on this analysis
  • Assure visual presentation standards are maintained by keeping shelves fully stocked, merchandise faced, cleaned/dusted, fronted and correctly priced
  • Ability to operate store equipment in assigned area including, but not limited to, cash registers, inventory scanners, telephones, paging system, security system
  • Respond to and handle customer issues by using good judgement and logic in problem-solving
  • Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by trends awareness and emerging technologies relating to the outdoor lifestyle
  • Assist in other areas of the store where needed
  • Available to work morning, afternoon, evening and/or weekends

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of archery products including bows, arrows, targets, equipment and accessories
  • One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred
  • Bow repair and tech experience/knowledge is an asset
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • A Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is required
  • Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification is a definite asset

Firearms Associate

Job Summary:  The Firearms Associate will provide superior customer service by assisting customers in selection, demonstration and purchase of all products including firearms, firearms accessories, ammunition, special orders, memberships, courses, and all club services. Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.

  • Available to work morning, afternoon, evening and/or weekends

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate, demonstrate and explain merchandise in assigned area
  • Stay current on product knowledge, general firearms laws and safety procedures
  • One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • A Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is required
